Some might say Rachel & Isaiah's paths were written in the stars & always meant to align. Isaiah was partly raised in New Jersey, while Rachel grew up in Delaware (DE) about 1-hour away. While Rachel remained in DE to attend the University of Delaware, Isaiah began his academic career at Jacksonville University. Rachel’s love for Disney and adventure eventually inspired her to relocate to Jacksonville, FL where she and Isaiah would pursue their MBAs at Jacksonville University.

Their first encounter was during a Spring semester evening class, but their interactions only consisted of random chit-chat until they were required to separate into groups in one of their other classes. When it was clear Isaiah was waiting to find a group, Rachel offered a spot in hers. Later that day, they had an accounting class together (which Rachel had NO experience in). Isaiah offered to help Rachel with their homework/assignments, then invited her to a study group that same afternoon. A week or two later, they’d celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together... and the rest was history!
